So glad to be part of the 69th War Eagle Fair this year!
What a legendary fair! Not only a huge crowd of people (This year’s estimate is 140,000 people.), but also all staff are really helpful and organized and hospitable!
It has over 250 vendors, so much to see, and the weather was fantastic! I can’t help but bring my violin along and walk around the lawn entertaining people. Everyone loved it! I tried to guess what they would like to listen to when passing through them. It might be my biggest joy during the fair.
After back in my booth, one lady came and asked me if I was the one playing the violin and walking around the crowd with her huge professional camera. Turns out, she is a reporter from 5 NEWS, and she thought my story would be interesting. We had the interview, here’s the link. (Thank you Kayla Davis)
I guess the weather changed too much for me, since I woke up at 4:30am every morning and the temperature went from 40F to 80F during the day. I caught a cold on the night of the 2nd day’s night. I couldn’t go back, glad to have help! I guess the preparation also stressed me up, and I need to figure out what to do next. Although the sales just made it even, I couldn’t make it for life. While I stayed in bed for the last few days, I listened to the audio book “LAUNCH”. I will keep listening till I understand.
